Relationship Counselling

If you are looking to strengthen your emotional connection with your partner, we can help. These sessions are held with both individuals in a safe environment where you can express your feelings while we find the solutions to any issues you may have together.

Group Counselling

A Few Methods We Use...

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) counselling is an extensively researched psychotherapy that helps people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. These include PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. It does not require you to talk in detail about the issue or complete homework between sessions. This thoroughly researched method allows the brain to resume its natural healing process and resolve unprocessed traumatic memories.

CBT

 Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is appropriate for people of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Evidence has mounted that CBT can address numerous conditions, such as major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and many others. CBT rests on the idea that thoughts and perceptions influence behavior.

ACT

Acceptance Commitment Therapy is proven to be effective in treating not only depression but also addiction and anxiety. ACT doesn’t attempt to improve or alleviate symptoms, but rather aims to help the person stop obsessing over his or her symptoms, create new lifestyle patterns, and make healthier choices. It encourages being fully conscious in the present moment and maintaining or changing behavior based on what the moment involves.
